GRITCase

James and Alta Case came to Worland in 1918 where James found work as a ditch rider. The couple moved to the Muirhead-Gray farm during the flu epidemic of 1918 to help with new land production. The Cases bought some cows and started a dairy which delivered milk to the Harold Van Buskirk Meat Market in additional to house to house delivery. They ran their dairy until 1923 when Jim went to work for Holly Sugar. - adapted from "A History of Washakie County"
